I am taking two capsules a day and what a difference these have made in lowering my blood glucose. The best news is my doctor’s happy and I feel great. Update: My husband has been taking 3 capsules a day of Berberine for 2 1/2 months. He has lost 15 pounds and lowered his glucose levels as proven by ongoing blood work at his doctor's office. He also has a history of gout and has NOT had a single flare up since he started taking the Berberine.

I was very pleased when I got my lab results back. The last couple times I’ve had blood work done, I was told my blood sugar was getting a little high and I should watch it before it turns into diabetes. I started researching ways to lower blood sugar and decided to try this Berberine along with cinnamon bark extract. I also cleaned up my diet and am exercising more. I was very pleased when I got my lab results back. My blood glucose was down 11mg and I’ve lost 6 pounds. Going to stick with this!

I started taking this to drop my glucose level and it definitely worked. My glucose numbers dropped 15 points per day or more. Quality plus comparable cost. Ordered my first bottle of Berberine from PuraVance Essentials and I think it is a great product as compared to the others that I have tried. I ordered this product after reading reviews on Amazon. For the last 4 weeks I am taking one capsule at night and I am seeing noticeable reduction in my glucose level by 60 points average (170 to 100-110). I am not on any medication and am controlling my glucose level through strict non carb diet and walking. To me Berberine is effective and I hope to bring down glucose to manageable level in about 2 months. Metformin haters should try this extract for a month minimum to see any noticeable change. I am not writing this review to promote this product neither I received any consideration for writing this review from anyone.

Great for blood sugar control! My husband was having blood sugar readings in the 150 range. Within just a few days of taking this supplement, the readings started decreasing to where they are consistently under 100 now. He had tried metformin and another berberine before trying this without any success. I am prediabetic and am going to start using it also and have told other family and friends about this name brand. Would have it auto-shipped monthly if that were an option!

I have been taking this Berberine for a month because my dr. said it could help with my blood sugar. I checked it this morning and my fasting blood sugar has gone from 119 to 98! Very happy!
